Environment
A detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has being carried out, which considers and quantifies any potential significant environmental effects which could arise from the wind farm development; and identifies measures to avoid, reduce and mitigate these where possible. The EIA looks at potential effects on a topic-by-topic basis as follows:
- Archaeology
- Avian Ecology
- Aviation
- Built Heritage
- Geology, Hydrogeology (including peat), Hydrology and Flood Risk
- Landscape and Visual
- Noise
- Non-Avian Ecology
- Socio-economics
- Traffic and Transport
These documents are all collated within an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA-R) which accompanies this application and can be viewed in the Links and Downloads tab.
